Zibian is an 8 year old red fawn male born in 2010. He was part of the population from the blood bank facility located in Cherokee, TX that closed in November 2017. Zibian has been evaluated by GALT's veterinarians and has completed his medical procedures. It is not yet known if he is small animal or cat tolerant. Please check back periodically for updates on Zibian's journey to a forever home.

Zibian is a cuddle bug, teddy bear of a hound. His thick coat is so lushly soft it’s impossible not to reach out and stroke it. Zibbie is tattooed but he was not registered and never raced. He came to us from the Cherokee blood bank where he was a universal blood donor.

Since he arrived at our house, Zibian’s become an Olympic class sleeper. He's a very laid back boy who takes his nap time seriously. When he’s up and about a favorite pastime is gathering up and surrounding himself with every toy from the basket. Zibbie loves flinging the squeaky toys in the air and then chasing them. While he’s not a big fan of walks, tossing the ball for him outside is another fun activity Zibbie enjoys and as a bonus it helps him get some much needed exercise! That’s all so exhausting so it’s time for another nap!

Unfortunately, Zibian likes kitties too much to live with them. He’ll do best in a lower-energy home with an affectionate family or guardian who will give him all the love and snuggles he craves and deserves.
