Sulu Sulu

Sulu, aka Devie's Sulu, is a handsome black-and-white male born on April 2, 2001 to sire Jimbo Scotty and dam Devie's Easter. Now almost 5 years old, Sulu's career ended in October of 2005 after competing in 136 races split between Wheeling Downs in West Virginia and the Southland Greyhound Park in West Memphis, Arkansas. At times a Grade A and AA racer, Sulu has now graduated to his new role as a Grade A retiree. Sulu is not small animal tolerant.

Sulu is an incredibly sweet, handsome and loving boy. He is enjoying retired life and just wants to be with and please his human friends. He is curious about new things he sees and new noises her hears (his ears go up halfway and his head tilts from side to side), but once he has them figured out, he moves on. When his curiosity gets the better of him and he does something he is not allowed to do, a stern "No!" is all it takes to make him stop.

Sulu is happy to snooze on a soft dog bed in a room with you. He will lay his head in your hand or your lap and let you pet, scratch and talk to him; you can love and hug on him to your hearts content. He just eats it all up and will keep coming back for more.

Sulu is very smart and learns very quickly. He knows to go outside to go potty and sleeps on a dog bed at the foot of my bed all night. He LOVES to play with toys, he tosses them and jumps on them and has a good ole time, then takes a nap.

Sulu loves to play catch with the tennis ball – sometimes he catches it in mid-air. He will even bring it back to you. He would love to have a buddy that will play with him.

So, if you are looking for a loving, teddy bear type (hug-able) Greyhound who will look at you with big adoring eyes, Sulu might just be the dog for you.
