GALTX

Pluto is a cute brindle approximately 6-month-old male galgo, born April 9, 2005. Galguito Pluto was thrown out of a car on August 27 at a gas station in Madrid. An anxious woman called SOS Galgos saying she'd witnessed this and could they help her. Two of SOS's best volunteers and foster people, Carmen Urbano and Maria Jose went together to pick him up at the municipal pound where the police had taken him from the gas station.

Pluto was immediately taken to the emergency hospital because of the painful fracture he had on one leg, and he was operated on. He was released to Carmen and Maria at midnight that very night. He was in foster care with Carmen until his departure to Dallas. Prior to his leaving his cast was taken off, and it is his foster mom's job to keep him a little quiet for the next month! That is a job in itself! Pluto is very, very adaptable and has acclimated to his Dallas home very well. He is in a foster home with Toby, so you know they are having a greyt time together!
