Jack Jack

Jack, aka Big Jim Taylor, is a strikingly handsome 5-year-old black male with a ticked black-and-white chest born January 15, 1999. Jack, along with Cliff, came from the Oak Cliff Shelter. Jack’s racing career consisted of 67 races starting January 3, 2001, at Gulf Greyhound Park in La Marque, and ended at Corpus Christi on April 19. 2003. When Jack arrived he tested positive for heartworms; however, he now is heartworm negative as of July 5!

Jack's quick recovery is due in part to the excellent care he received from his loving foster home and Dr. Jeff Ellis, who treated him. Jack is a little shy and will do best in a calm home without small children. Jack gets along well with other dogs and is small animal, bird and cat tolderant.
